Even if Charleston White agrees with conservatives and white conservatives on a lot of shit. He still makes everything about race. And the whole point some of us white conservatives push is to stop making everything about race, I dont want to say all because at this point "conservative" can mean 100 different things. Sometimes Charleston even makes me uncomfortable with the shit he says about black people. He speaks a lot of truth but some things he says are just downright exaggerations or falsehoods about black people on average.
But with the Charlie Kirk thing. It has nothing to do with what color either the victim or the shooter was, it was a murder of an innocent man. Theres nothing wrong with genuinely not caring that much. We cant all care about everyone who dies, but it was him laughing about it and the way he said it that was offensive. At first I defended him honestly because I thought he was being sarcastic in some weird way because that didnt seem like something he would say. But Im starting to think he just says provocative things for attention. Sometimes there's no real consistency to his beliefs. But he is also a comedian too so thats part of the game. But when you blur the line between comedy and serious commentary its hard to know what he believes and what he doesn't. But laughing about Kirk's murder just wasn't cool.
